Love and Basketball. Players” Club is underrated, IMO. I like Baby Boy better than Boys in the Hood too.

Why love and basketball?

Somehow that has evolved other the years into a classic hood movie. but i'm old enough to remember that when it came out it was marketed and received as a chick flick. May as well have put Girls Trip on that list. If you were going to include a female centric film, Poetic Justice would've been a better choice from that era.
