What boobs! Website offers to connect desperate women seeking breast enhancement surgery with benefactors willing to pay for them.
The women are obligated to provide before and after photos following the procedure and agree to remain in touch with donors for six months after surgery.
Some women who desire breast implants are becoming dependent on the kindness of strangers.
Since 2005, a web site called
myfreeimplants.com has been matching flat-chested females with men who are willing to pony up cash to pay for bigger breasts.Co-founder Jay Moore and his friends came up with the idea of helping women who are strapped for cash achieve their busty dreams at a bachelor party.
This is a financing tool, Moore told the Las Vegas Sun in 2009. This is a boob bank.
While women only have to share their photo in order to plea their case for larger breasts, charitable men have to pay a monthly fee to help out these damsels in distress.
Women from all over the world send in their photos and bios, pleading for donations.
The company, calls itself a specialized social networking website.
But the woman cant just take their donations to the plastic surgeon and log off.
In fact, she doesnt get the money at all.
The donations are held by the site in a trust until they meet their surgery goal, the Sun reports. When the surgery is complete, the site pays the doctor directly.
When they sign up, they pledge to provide after pictures and keep in touch their benefactors for an additional six months after surgery.
The Daily News reached out to myfreeimplants.com and is awating comment.
While these men may think of themselves as Pygmalians, mental health experts have another word for them -- creeps.
Who are these men? This is unhealthy, scary and disconcerting, said Rachel Sussman, a relationship expert and author of "The Breakup Bible." Why would anyone get into such a dysfunctional contract? It could be highly damaging... even traumatic!
Sussman said that raising funds this way is no way to improve ones self esteem.
Think of the confidence you'll get by making the right choice, finding the right doctor and paying for it yourself, she suggests to women thinking of seeking donations. If you are struggling with self-image, finding a sugar daddy won't do anything positive for you.
