Hes 6'3" with all the necessary guard skills that he needs to play point, but he's primarily scoring focused. If or when that roster no longer has non-shooting playmakers like Rubio and Exum on it that have length they'll have start playing him at PG because hes very capable.

If you paired him next to a great shooter standing 6'5" or above that can defend it would be a natural transition
It don't work like that you can't just covert a guy to point guard when he's a natural born scorer. That Hawks tried that with Joe Johnson and it was a disaster. If Mitchell not shooting 20x a game he's not really good for anything.

Passing, vision, ability to create his own shot. Help defense, Russell is becoming an overall point guard. If he can remain healthy he's a top 12 Pg next season.
