I dunno if I'd add them to the OP. The fact that the lead artists sold poorly, it makes it seem like they were, themselves, still tryna get put on the big scene and that forming BCC was just another attempt since they originally flopped.

You are thinking in the post-internet visibility as sales state of mind. That album was huge and extremely influential. Elevated Buckshot to the forefront of the NY rap scene with busta, krs, G rap, Redman, Tribe, etc
