While majority of the group thinks the South (Atlanta) has been running it for a while, arguments are being made that West, Midwest, and East (New York) are currently running.

I agree...NYC is definitely making moves but at the same time picture in The 90s nikkax saying NYC was back if Onyx, Nas, BIG was using G Funk as the sound
