You're talking about Christians who can be extreme religious zealots. Atheists don't believe in any religion nor believe in any God.
Muslims spend their whole lives listening to leaders how their religion is the one true faith, their God is perfect, the Quran is perfect, Muhammad perfect. Their constantly reminded about the errors of other faiths, numerous versions of the Bible, idols that are worshipped but cannot defend themselves...
