:ehh: Definitely The Pop Out Concert
:wow:But The Lox vs Dipset was the best rap verzuz. While The Isley Brothers vs Earth, Wind & Fire was the best RnB verzuz.
:russ:The Mario vs Omarion was straight fukkery tho.

The Booth got to move on from the 2000s
You need a mix of older and younger fans. It’s whole underground hiphop movements that younger fans don’t know shyt about lol. Might as well latch on to the last great popular hiphop artists

Pop-out officially ended Drake's era and probably the wave of using ghostwriters and that's probably why hip-hop been slow for a minute. Kendrick shifted the culture outta that hyper-capitalist phase. I don't think it's going to bring back lyrical miracle raps, but if Columbia doin' Joey dirty is any sign, it means a new wave of rappers will have to come with some skill.

My Pops Forever RIP
the event: the pop out

the moment: Jadakiss scorching the Earth

for everything Jadakiss hasn't done in his career (i.e. classic album, longevity in terms of how many really good albums he has, etc.), in that moment, you didn't care and if you still wanna consider him a GOAT, we'd understand. The part that was almost as big as Jada setting the crowd on fire was that stretch where Juelz said they ain't make songs for women and then the Lox shut that shyt up quick.

The Pop Out was bigger for LA than the Verzuz was for NY and the Pop Out event will have a more lasting event (it's the culmination of the biggest diss track ever and the springboard for what will likely be album of the year at the Grammys-- and low key the moment where if you didn't think Tyler was THAT major, now you know). It also edges out because we don't know what else can come from that Pop Out because there were a lot of regional /guys still working their way up. The Verzuz closed a chapter in our lives because out of everyone from that Verzuz, the only one who still raps consistently is Jim Jones who's one foot out the door with Dipset and Jadakiss to a lesser extent (he still kills features, but it's pretty clear he has other stuff he wants to get into besides just rapping all the time).

Pop Out easily. It was a massive show that basically was a victory lap after winning the most high profile rap beef of the last 2 decades.

That said, Lox vs. Dipset did a lot for Jadakiss's stature so there's that.
