Was wondering what sport ya'll feel has the best comebacks?

I guess because of it's "slow" pace at times, watching a bottom of the 9th rally is :ohlawd: and the same w/watching a team come back from a 4th quarter deficit in football :ohlawd:

Basketball up there too and under the radar is tennis :lawd:

Baseball because there is no killing the clock, you have to get those last 3 outs and there is no way around it.
It's baseball because there are less instances of ref fukkery aided comebacks like the nba (especially ) or NFL . You have to get those 3 outs no matter what , and the drama of watching a rally take place is second to none

There's nothing like a rally by the home team, bottom of the 9th, runners in scoring position, fans screaming like the bytches during the Beatles first US tour, and the opposing team's closer on the mound to get the final outs during the playoffs. I don't fukk with baseball during the regular season that much, but during the playoffs in the scenario I painted, the tension is so high it's fukking :whew:

Watching the Nats blow that game last year at home was :krs:

And watching St. Louis come back in game 6 in the 9th inning vs the Rangers a few years ago was:ohlawd:

baseball or boxing

I was at a Nats game where they came back from 4 runs down in the 9th inning and won on a walk off. Still the best experience Ive ever had a sporting event.

All I know this is the greatest comeback I've ever seen

I think its hard to gage individual sports vs team sports comebacks, regardless of how spectacular they are, as they required different variables.

Golf, there really is only 3 major great comebacks 2 of them in the Ryder Cup and when Faldo beat Norman @ the Masters after trailing by 6 shots going into the final round. Boxing well theres been quite a few last round/min KO's but the way judging is in the sport you dont know who was actually winning on the scorecards even tho the eye test may be saying somethnig different. But because of the violent nature of the sport it is extremely enjoyable:manny:

Baseball is maybe more enjoyable because the players can play with more freedom goin into the 9th inning.

soccer(football), Basketball(that game 4 against Boston :to:), and Football

For all these sports once the momentum swings, only thing you can do is pray that your team can hold on long enough to win :heh:

Definitely baseball. The strategy involved inning to inning, at bat to at bat, pitch to pitch is fascinating as hell. As a Yankee fan, I've been on both sides of epic comebacks and there really isn't anything coming close to that anxiety. Hockey has the best overtime imo, though.

Basketball is a game of runs and I've seen too many 20+ point comebacks to really get all that excited. The greatness in basketball is the final 5 minutes of a close game and OT. In football, I'm more surprised when I see blowouts since teams in the lead invariably always go to prevent d.
