I'm doing some research for school and I started thinking about this...
I'm gonna go with basketball. I imagine a day where kids are using tech-enabled armbands, that tell them exactly when and how to shoot the ball. They obviously won't be able to play with these but they will get much more out of their practice, which will lead to much better shooters overall.
Also you got companies like Second Spectrum that are taking analytics to the next level. They're able to break down the game situationally and tell players what the best decision is based on percentages.
Once again, it's not real-time but it's something that can probably be ingrained through a lot of practice.
^^showing where the best position to stand for rebounds is
Now, OBVIOUSLY nothing can replace the feel for the game and intuition. But I'm telling you brehs, there's a lot of tech out there and the shyt's gonna change sports in the future.
Thoughts?
