There is no way to argue against Georgia being the clear cut top southern state for producing hip hop, and black music in general.
1.Georgia
2. Louisiana
3.Texas
4.Florida
5. Tennessee

A much better list would be:
Outkast
Goodie Mob
TI
Youngbloodz
Jeezy
Field Mob
Camouflage (rip)
Rocko
Gucci
Dungeon Fam covered under Kast an GM

so the south ain't got no love for Timbaland, Missy, the Clipse, Pharrell, Fam-Lay, Lady of Rage, Magoo, Chris Brown, and Skillz?![]()
Is Ny no 1 out of all the states?![]()

You new york nikkas really can't read.... in a discussion of where each specific southern state ranks in regards to it's output of hip hop.... you talking about New York?
I want to say Louisiana but GA has a gang of talent that came out of it.
LA has a bunch of hidden diamonds too outside of the Cash money/No Limit stuff, that are huge.
I feel like LA has shaped the game since white people learned what bling bling meant and back that ass up hit mtv.
edit: All the rest of the states are hot and cold, alot of classic's but its on and off.
How you gonna put Camoflauge, and not put somebody like Lil Jon ?
You could've atleast put Kilo Ali and Raheem The Dream![]()
I say Camoflauge cause he had a pretty large following and was from Savannah, Field Mob from Albany, I could added P Troy to cause he came out Augusta, and yes I know Jeezy from Macon and Gucci from wherever but to me they ATL. Really no need to add Lil Jon lol. This by states not cities.

I know you seen my comment, name some names
are you that ignorant? you should know the names. and if all you can think of is Scarface and UGK....then your no diferrent than a preteen white girl from arkansas.
