Which was BETTER the better movie: New Jack City or Paid in Full ?


Personally I feel like if you're around 40 and up and you saw New Jack City in the early 90s when it came out, it's was like the best Movie ever. So epic, so raw, just crazy. Pretty much is the Bible of Black Crime, Drug Dealing movies. It was the Black version of Scarface and The Godfather. And the Sountrack was tight. Just a great project thru and thru.


What really make Paid in Full a true Classic is and Acting. Just superb acting for all the main characters and the supporting cast was amazing. And the wardrobe and how great they captured the early 80s timeframe. And after a slew of low budget, immature writing Black Gangster movies, this was Pure GOLD. And Cam just shocked us all.


I think for it's Time, New Jack City was the more Epic movie. There was never anything like it before. In the way the displayed the height of crack, while still in the height of crack was just crazy.

I do fell like Paid was the Better Storyline.

Paid n Full was just 1:45 minutes of Camron method acting

If you cut out all the characters and put Camron dialogue/scenes on loop, the movie doesn’t miss a beat. Everyone else was side characters and that’s not true to the story

NJC hands down. If anyone in NYC go uptown to Harlem and visit the Carter Apartments aka Graham Court on Adam Clayton Powell and 117th where the movie was filmed I been inside them dope vibes.
