I'm kinda curious about you, dude, you from the US but you live in Brazil now? Man, how do you do it, cause we don't have segregated neighborhoods like that (except social class separation which happens anywhere) so you gotta be around whites, plus Brazil doesn't even openly have a racial discussion going on. You must hang around quilombolas and other black activists all day or something.


Anyway, back to the thread, it's some legit concerns going on with mixed families like that, an acquaintance of mine is black with a white SO, so she has two kids, the first one looks black, the second one is on some Mariah Carey type of ish, so it might create a degree of separation between siblings... the kids are still small though and they seem close so it's whatever for now.
