First to give you a little background. This school is called East English Prep also known as the Ville. When I was growing up this was my neighborhood school but I didn't go here. My parents was on some
And sent me to private school. But this school has always been rough ( east warren probably went here but I'll let him speak for himself). They constantly fight because they barely have security guard (each high school in Detroit Public Schools has no more then 2 because it's short staff. The school I work at only has one. They put most of security in middle schhol. Which is dumb to me. They don't have riots like this)

This woman is a real officer and not just security. This started as a food fight and got out of control.

They do but not to that extent. I can tell various stories of brehs getting wrongfully arrested, put in police cells, getting beat up, released without charge. And when the complaint is put in there's a wall of silence, lies or harassment of the complainant.
Black men get disproportionately stopped despite only being 3% of the population.


But seeing as our numbers are so small we don't get the coverage.

Well, in Detroit Public Schools, unless those football coaches are teachers they won't be in the bldg. 2nd, it could help if teachers were in there. But the union won't allow it. Lunchroom are typically ran by an assistant principal and maybe a Dean of students. So police are the only way to get order. And they typically work like 5 different schools. It's no security because of covid and people not wanting to work thr job. This aint thr only school either that had big fights.
