What race do you identify with?

If by identify you mean my appearance then Asian, but its confusing because thats not just what I am, Im half Mexican, born on that border.

Maybe I need to take some time to better under stand both sides of my ethnicity? History of my people and their people.

You right, Im now realizing how much Thai/SE Asian people my grandmother knows here in CT, NYC, and in Thailand. I already make sure Im prepared for the future so hopefully if home base doesn't work out this South East Asian networking could work out.

My friend who is a white female, with a black hubby and they have a child, once said she doesn't like that there's a black entertainment channel. She feels it encourages the focus on race, where as if we don't focus on it, then race may not be made a big deal

if you read them you will see (or start to see) a direct line between the past and how black folks in America got to where they are today, I mean it will be crystal fukking clear

why is this a good thing to do
1. it will relieve you of the burdening and oppressive hold of improper self analysis
2. you will be able to see yourself as a flawed human being, just like all the other human beings around you regardless of their color
3. you may finally understand the power of socialization and brainwashing
4. You may understand that in a system of white supremacy, everyone becomes white supremacists to varying degrees, even black people; making them capable of being racist against themselves (usually referred to as self hate)
5. It may help you be the one to see solutions to the problems the race problems in America.

All I said was, so what about the white experience, from poor to rich, that is depicted on every other channel. She then gave me the equivalent response to
White supremacy has done some "damage" to white folks too, not as much to black folks obviously
