Just today, creh walks up to me and says





Creh: "So, what do you think about this George Floyd mess?"





CopiousX: (opens mouth to speak, but hasn't said anything)


Creh: " well, I get what your saying ; but... do two wrongs make a right "?


CopiousX : "um, so.....from the perspective of black people... "(gets interupted)


Creh: I know racism has been in this country for a long time, but this isn't the way to deal with it. The taxpayer is gonna have to pay for all this.


CopiousX: (opens mouth to speak, but hasn't said anything)


Creh: "you know, you guys should really be protesting at the prisons"

On the exact opposite side, I walk into the break room one day, and hear them straight up listing all the blackfolk that have been killed since 2012. In serious detail.



They go into detail about breh in Ohio that they shot inside of his car with his girl beside him, and I'm like . So y'all keep up with this sht too?

This happened to me too. The coworker just reached out in support & hope for change, not necessarily asking me what I think per say. I think they meant well but I still wasn’t sure how to respond...it’s not like words alone are going to change the reality of what’s been going on.
