And that was my main point. nikkas talking about "stop bytching and invest". We invested years of our lives behind bars, or literally sacrificed our lives at the hands of police.

White people bootlegged alcohol when it was banned, and still came out on top in the grand scheme of things. When a race has a multi generational head start economically, socially and educationally, you can't just "do something about it" or "invest". It's not that simple. Legal weed is worse than gentrification because it's not just black people getting fukked, poor/middle class people are getting fukked as well, because they are the ones that consumed it and risked their freedom selling it the most. yet wealthy individuals are able to profit easily from it.
