We are all aware of the "whitewashing" of black music throughout history but it's still happening before our eyes in real time.

These new white rappers are colonizing the hood/streets now.

Eminem back in the day still made "angry whiteboy" rap, despite being in a majority black artform. We NEVER mistook Eminem as anything other than a white rapper. He stayed making those corny first singles to display his "whiteness" and corniness. Nobody ever bumped Eminem in stripclubs or in clubs. You never heard Em being bumped in whips. Same with a Macklemore for instance. You never heard Macklemore being played in the streets.

These new whiteboys are different tho:wow:

These new whiteboys are rapping over trap beats sounding just like black rappers:wow:

I had no idea a white dude was on

till I had already heard it dozens of times:wow:

The first time I heard

I assumed it was a black rapper. Guess I didn't catch him saying "white" Iverson in the song but still everything about the song screams "black rapper".

Today's white rappers are now getting play in the most hood stripclubs and hole in the wall clubs. We are now blasting white rappers in our whips.

The whitewashing of black music is still happening as we speak.

You're right, Whitewashing is a slow process. It doesn't happen overnight.

With these trap beats, its more easier than ever to sound "black"

I hear what you're saying which is why, me personally, I cant support their music. I'll listen to a single here and there, but listening to an actual project is :camby: to me for the simple fact, Im not gonna contribute to Rap getting Rock & Roll'd.

Em wasn’t getting bumped in whips and shyt, but he was a respected and revered lyricist. Current white rappers are either full on plants, or make the safe Disney [and worse] versions of black music (e.i., G-Eazy and Logic being flea market versions of J Cole, Kendrick, and Drake)
