White trends that didnt go over

I'm here with my pops right now and we were channel surfing and landed on The Voice. He said "damn white folks even took battling"

I'm like but also I mentioned how Black folks set the trends and determine whats "cool" so to speak.

What are some more recent things white folks did that were supposed to take off til Black folks shot it down?

I can only think of "Tewbow-ing" where white folks were like and everyone else was like and it ended that trend with the quickness

I honestly can't think of any popular trends white people have set nation wide

but I grew up in a predominately black neighborhood so

it's kinda weird that we drive so much of popular culture and were a minority now that I think about it

That was one of the few things that started out white, that blacks took too. Joe Budden was outchea planking as well. lol

Breh why are you showing me photos from the 1800's..Do you wear any of the shyt they are wearing in these pictures..If you can't admit from the 90's through 2000's most of us were wearing baggy cloths..I don't know what to tell you..The style of dress today with the fitted shirts,jeans dress clothes etc... came mostly from these white cats.Yeah i rocked Ralph Lauren,Nautica,Tommy Hilfiger for the last 20 years ,but the shyt was super baggy..Oh let me guess you never jumped on the baggy clothes wave........
