You don't say "I'm voting for Trump because of the economy" when he bankrupted a casino.
You don't vote for someone to "lower the cost of eggs" when he said outright he had no plan to do so.
Hell, you can go deeper than them not wanting to vote for a Black woman.
They voted for Trump because he promised one thing to them: to maintain the racial hierarchy.

Gutting what few protections women were gaining from forced births- Ending Roe v. Wade, defunding Planned Parenthood, gutting child tax credits, relaxing child marriage laws, what's happening to Adriana Smith's corpse- so that those white babies HAVE to be born (unless you're wealthy or a mistress to a wealthy man, that is)?

I knew a segment of the population did vote on look, gender, race, and all around vibes... but since Trump 2.0, I realize 26-33% of the country vote against their own interests and largely the bullshyt I just posted above. Another 40% just didn't vote for similar reasons + they just genuinely aren't invested in politics or think it can affect them.
Republicans know on their merits and policy they genuinely can't win more than 20% of the population, so we get the bullshyt they're up to now; white replacement theory; and willing to hop in the grave and burn it all down if they don't get their way.
I do think upwards of 25% of Republican voters are getable... the sad shyt is, they're most likely racist and/or xenophobic and I keep asking, do I even want those people to switch sides.

The biggest surprise was people voting for a guy who lead/encouraged a coup d'etat when he lost the previous election.
