I remember being an adult and finding the infamous "switch" which was basically a slice of tree the size of a 2x4 that my mama use to beat me with, and still being shook. Went outside and burned it and made smores.

my moms never hit me but my grandma made me go out back and pick a switch from the tree a few times.
