Just terrible. This episode of cat and mouse bored me to tears. Just kill Carol, I said from last year they should've gotten rid of her. And now everybody is dumb to make this awful lead up to Negan work. Terrible. Negan while menacing, mentioned urine twice in his entrance? As for the cliffhanger, I said this Friday:

If they leave this episode with a cliffhanger, I'm gonna be pissed. It's disrespectful to your audience to do that and backlash will happen. You're on notice TWD

"I simply cannot decide" - spoken like a true AMC writer. Like I get it, TWD can get away with anything they want but I just wish they didn't in this case.

No they don't. They resolve a story during the a season, the season finale ends the story and sets up for something different. They didn't resolve anything, they just stretched this story out longer. They literally did nothing except get captured and Morgan rode a horse.

I know a lot of people have said this but my time with walking dead is coming to an end and let me explain.

I was never into anything zombie related until this show and I didn't watch season 1 and 2 until right before season 3 because people kept telling me to watch it. I loved season 1 but hated season 2 and almost stopped watching then. However I kept watching it there have been more characters I disliked than liked. The only characters I've liked consistently since day 1 is Daryl Carol Maggie and Glenn. I think Rick is a terrible leader and most of their group misery has to do with how he handles things. Honestly I kept watching because I kept hearing about the governor and Negan well I thought the governor storyline was underwhelming so now we are at Negan. I'm giving this show until the season 7 midseason finale, I'm tired of the writing and characters just doing dumb shyt like allowing the only doctor leave the town when she isn't even a fighter especially when you know someone is pregnant and she gets stupid over trying to get a soda. I hated the season finale ending it pisses me off how they didn't show who was killed. If it ends up being Eugene Rosita or that other guy I'm done with the show because that means the writers were to scared to kill off a major character. Daryl is my favorite character but the death needs to be Glenn or Daryl or a lesser extent Abraham to have the effect all the cast was talking about. Another gripe I have is there are too many characters and with the addition of whatever people Morgan and Carol hanging with next season that means more episodes were characters aren't shown for 2-3 episodes in a row

I love Glenn too though

Just kill Daryl tbh... He's important enough his death would be really felt and get everyone (audience and characters) hating Negan

Edit: plus Daryl's character development lately is meh compared to Glenn's (like in season 5B and 6)

Do you not realize he was outnumbered by at least 50-60 people? He was shook because he finally realized what was happening and what he had gotten them into, he wasn't going to risk Carl's life just to look like a badass one more time.

Yep, if Rick got up and tried to fight, the whole group would've gotten clapped down. Rick can be a hot head at times but this time he was smart.

that was the worst part of the episode to me. they completely turned rick into a straight bytch. they've been in similar situations before and rick stayed strong. how can the crew even look at him the same anymore with the way he was acting?....even when negan asked who the leader was rick kept his head down shaking like a p*ssy......normally rick wouldn't have hesitated to step up. it makes no sense. what was the point of making rick look like such a bytch here?....dude was literally SHAKING in his boots......these show runners are just terrible all the way around

why do you keep saying this? rick was shaking because he was scared, he was shakin in anger like he did when carl was about to get raped

What an idiot. Everyone is trashing that bs cliffhanger. We spent all this time building up to Negan killing someone and now we gotta wait until October. You just drained all the impact outta the buildup. Their lack of foresight is as bad as Rick's.

at this point you gotta accept the show for what it is... these dudes are scared shytless of rubbing the fans the wrong way. even last weeks episode when dwight shot daryl, they just had to throw dwight saying "he'll be alright" immediately after instead of letting fans ponder for a week if daryl possibly died


i actually enjoyed the finale (until the cliffhanger) and it seems like the whole purpose of rick being this over confident savage this season was just to get him humbled at the end by negan realizing he doesnt have all the answers


ill be tuned in to season 7 regardless but this show could never be mentioned with any of the GOATs like breaking bad, game of thrones, etc

now lets sit back and watch them make the "all out war" less epic than it should be

They've been treading water with this show since season 2.
