No I wasn't . It was a good but sloppy episode. They only saw Jesus on a run . Jesus never dealt with the Saviors or better yet dealt with his A team core. Jesus always wore a mask when he did dirt and with his long hair that could be anybody. Negan team weren't put on to Rick until the attack on his base. Nobody survived could identify Rick. I'm thinking Heath and Tara got caught and put to task by Negan and gave them up.

I think that you're doing a lot of this show's work for them. They write in and out of scenarios for convenience and they're obviously just writing this show for advertising money at this point. They toy around with killing characters, then don't. Then they couldn't even commit to their "WE WILL KILL SOMEONE" deadline. It's lazy, it's poor writing, it's a gimmick. You saw how many commercials they ran last night. This show is a cash grab for AMC.

And you know what? Maybe this season only seemed good because it didn't have to stand next to a respectable television show like Breaking Bad or Mad Men. Or compete with a REAL juggernaut like Game of Thrones. Speaking of GoT, their writers probably laughed their ass off when they saw TWD last night.

I actually agree with this. They didn't do enough to even make George RR Martin look up from the dinner table if this was on in the background.
Episode isn't even good enough to comment on really, thats why I haven't said anything. Its just poorly paced drivel with unnecessary foreshadowing ("Today might be somebody's last day..." "Remember, its somebody's last day...") and no payoff.

The line-up of 10+ people allows them to pick someone non-important.
Then, whoever was chosen... they elected not to show the death, so it has no impact.

Terrible execution.

They reshot the same scene of the RV pulling up 4 times then drag out the ending so they can not show anything. This episode is 20 minutes of material stretched into an hour.

I made sure to watch it before the Venture Bros season finale and the Daredevil season two finale cause I had a feeling it was gonna be an opening act not a headliner. I would of been disapointed had I watched it last, but luckily those other two shows saved movie night... It was like a double-shot of listerine after downing AMC brand camel piss.

The audio last night was definitely changed, they brought up the sound of the bat and lowered the sound of the screams. In the leaked version you can hear Maggie screaming Glenn's name and Negan's "damn" was a lot louder.

yea you prolly right....I just didn't like how rick completely looked defeated from one moment to the next. the whole episode was rushed. I understand rick was shook in that moment, but they went over the top with him hanging his head and shaking uncontrollably. it was just a bad look

Rick was shook because his son, his girl, and everyone who is strong and looks to him as a leader had been caught and toyed with. Being hard would've got someone else in that group completely fukked up.

Glenn was going crazy because he thought Maggie was done. Carl wanna to go out fighting but Rick knew there was nothing to do... He has a daughter breh.

Abe crazy af anyway but did show hella nuts which is why I think he was skipped. I think Negan respects that. Daryl was half dead it seems.


I think it was Glenn. Maybe Abe though. Whoever it was Negan said he showed hella nuts. I think Daryl is to important as well as Glenn but it was Glenn who got caught by Lucille in the comics

I understand that but it was done poorly. he had the opportunity to turn the RV around, go back home, and regroup. instead he kept going into the trap. he even said "they want us to keep going this way"....so he KNEW what was happening and just kept going into the shyt storm. if it was the show runners intention to make rick look like a coward, mission accomplished. if it was their intention to just make him look nervous and regretful, they coulda pulled it off without rick shaking and mumbling over himself.

He pretty much was going to stop until he fired go saved Maggie baby, it wasn't no turning around for him honestly

Negans compound must be way better than Alexandria, all those soldiers. They didn't look like they were missing no meals. Must have a McDonald's up in there.

I think his crew is pretty much a bunch of separate crews who has to follow him and pay tax to him, he probably called in all the goons for this mission since rick and his crew had taken out like 3 whole crews already

At multiple points I wws like wtf is this guy thinking they're fukked. Of course that's partly because of spoilers but it looked rough out there on the road. So the two things don't correspond. Dude seemed like he was on a mission. He didn't seem worried at all till Carl was like "we end this now" and Rick was like nah we do it on our terms.

I don't get it. Yeah Rick looked like he was terrified beyind belief when he was in his knees but before that he really didn't to me. At multiple points I wws like wtf is this guy thinking they're fukked. Of course that's partly because of spoilers but it looked rough out there on the road. So the two things don't correspond. Dude seemed like he was on a mission. He didn't seem worried at all till Carl was like "we end this now" and Rick was like nah we do it on our terms.

He was confident in whatever plan he had till he ran into the group. You know how terrifying that has to be to walk into a trap being surrounded by like 50 ppl that want you dead. Then to get put on your knees with your close friends and family in front of a nikka wielding a bat wrapped in barbed wire...

Most nikkas would pass out right there....you can't begin to imagine the level of panic that he was having. This isn't being surrounded by walkers.

I don't know if anyone posted it here or not, but Robert Kirkman, the creator of the series said he regretted killing Abe in the comics because he thought he would be good to use in the upcoming arc.

So I think the writers are going take the easy way out and kill either Aaron or Eugene. Two people who will make us say

Eugene is alive. For now. He is to the left of Carl nthe person that died is to the right of him....remember when negan pointed over at Carl with the whole cut his eye shyt of they move? There are subtle hints as to who is alive.

If j want to talk business they wont kill glenn being hes the only asian character and beside rick and morgan the only ogs left going (carl too but carl isnt dying anytime soon)

Abraham has been saved by the crestor essentially because of his importance.

They have two black females and both have been put in positions of power snd importsnce...michonne would be the likely one whose death would shake up the show but i think they liken her too important to let go and idk how the world reacts to a woman getting beat in her head with a bat

I also think maggie would be a good choice due to her being sick bht i feel like her being sick makes her saved because they lkkely want to finish this story

Darly started a new show but is considered the most popular and wont be killed in a shotty death like this where he only said like 3 words this episode

Rosita death would be cheap but make sense to toss her since she legit has no story now that denise died in front of her and abraham left her.

All thats left is eugene who gave up the recipe for bullets and has no other useful skill to the group without it and the gsy guy who really isnt inportsnt to the grsnd scheme of things

I think only glenn/daryl/michonne/maggie are the only four that could make up for that cliffhanger
