fukk both of them. Porzingis showed he doesn't want to be here. Why even trade to bring him back?
The article highlighted what we all knew was that the Knicks need a floor spacer at the 5 and Porzingis fits in the category. Kristaps already apologized and talked about the regret of leaving so I don’t think people are holding it over him anymore.

Also it could be the process of elimination.

Turner can’t be traded until decenber
KAT is too expensive
Embiid is a pipe dream.

2nd best team in the East , good job Knicks brehs :salute:
:stopitslime: Doesn’t hit like a win would. Though it should be enough for the FO to not gut the team or fire the coach.

Did Randle show who he was when he was picking fights with y'all all last season?
Everyone is forgetting KP almost caught a rape case in NY and between that and his bad temper/bytch attributes they shipped him out while injured. They didn’t even try to wait for him to be healthy to recoup value.

No way they bring him back

Jaylen Brown can be gotten for the low, dig in the trade machine and get it done damnit:wow:
I was all for trading him at one point, but breh is kind of a chucker and wants to be 1 or 1A when he should be a 2 or a 3 on a winning team. He'd come here, take bad shots and freeze players out. I'm indifferent towards a trade for him now, I don't think he knows how to fit in with a team.

Jaylen Brown has absolutely no handle just like RJ
No thanks I have no interest in committing a max to a wing who can't dribble when we already have 1 even if Jaylen is significantly better

Honestly, just run it back. A lot of the hypothetical trades I see on the internet just make the team worse. Sign some shooters and call it a day. The stars we need to get better aren't available aside from Embiid.
I don’t think that’s the answer either. From a cap perspective it’s smarter to add salary to the team now trading by Fournier (and maybe rose), because they won’t have cap space to use on FA, and would limit their ability to add talent without sending someone they actually play to a team.

Basically saying all they need is some shooting is what they did after the ATL series when all they needed was a shooter who you could attack. The Knicks have to continue to improve and look for guys who can be part of its core group.

That is literally what they tried to do bringing in Kemba and Fournier. A Injury prone scorer and a good three point shooter. It didn’t work.
It's literally not as all 4 players mentioned play different positions. Kemba was brought in to be a PG that defenses had to respect. Fournier was brought for shooting. KP brings more to the table than shooting. Burks isn't a PG. Adding him to this team plays to his strengths. And if they don't shed Randle and/or RJ, these are additions that would make ME feel ok about running it back with this core. Cool? That's about all the energy I got to argue a hypothetical that may or may not happen.

The Knicks are a heavy positional team. They are a functional team and nah running it back with those two ain’t going to get this team over the hump. Hypothetical or not, they don’t fit. Especially Burks, whose role you’re describing just got filled by Hart
