The Knicks are a heavy positional team. They are a functional team and nah running it back with those two ain’t going to get this team over the hump. Hypothetical or not, they don’t fit. Especially Burks, whose role you’re describing just got filled by Hart
Running it back with them? I'm adding them not using them to replace. I'm done with randle and RJ. But if they stay, KP and Burks appear to be gettable options I'm cool with adding. Repeatedly quoting me that you don't agree won't change that. It's noted tho! Got the message the 1st time!
I didn't describe a role for Burks tho. I think they can play in the 2nd unit together. Hart can keep rebounding and playing D and AB can provide actual offense. Brunson passes to a wide open Burks in game 6.

Jaylen Brown has absolutely no handle just like RJ
No thanks I have no interest in committing a max to a wing who can't dribble when we already have 1 even if Jaylen is significantly better
Nah, Jaylen has dribble combos and wiggle.

He just has a tendency for ill-advised drives and forces in traffic and doesn’t handle traps too well.

He has a handle though for isolation scoring RJ has none.

Can we get this KP/Towns shyt outta of here... have we not learned from 2013, like damn we made the playoffs and won a series and now lets overreact to a loss rather than build on it... in 2013 we overreacted to Pacers loss and ended up getting BArgnani that trade sent the franchise back almost 5 yrs ...

knicks need a floor general backup point guard

Hart and Burks overlap, outside the 3 pt shooting, and while KP is a really good outside shooter. KP is injury prone and probably looking to start. wants to be paid and his health is questionable. Plus he was one of he worst contracts in the league until he had to earn himself a new one.

Last thing the Knicks need is that :childplease:

Knicks need shooting and they need that paint unclogged
Knicks need shooting in general, not just from the 5 spot and there is this nifty thing called small ball that can get 5 shooters out there.

Hartenstein did that on low volume. He has never taken threes at a high volume.

We tried it this year at the beginning of the year but abandoned it because the shots weren’t dropping.
Keep working on it and we don’t need it in high volume. I got to say this again but the issue was shooting in general, self creation on the bench, and small ball defense. At no point would a center shooting a 3pt would have broken the zone if at least 2 other guys aren’t threats either.

Knicks need established shooting not to see if some guy whose never been a shooter can start shooting.

We tried already this isn’t a gamble worth taking.
