Bruce Brown was an overpay for a team that needed to reach the salary floor he isn’t the market value.
But if the bum RJ can make $23M I’d definitely want more as an actual impact player on the team
His middle one, not the one going to USC this year. This one is like 15 or 16.

We haven’t heard anything about a trade though or IQ’s extension. Also those numbers for Borgdon were yesterday prices, and I think IQ is a better prospect thank Clarkson and already potentially a better player. If we start to hear noise about IQ’s extension being an issue I think it will be a precursor to a trade. However, the FO and coach really likes him

Not to mention the gap between Clarksons new 18 million and Brogdon's 23 is only something like 3-4% of cap space (not even including the luxury tax). Anything in that range isn't so bad, though of course it'd be better to get him locked in closer to 20 per.

Some notes:
- Knicks were willing to do Grimes, Obi, 3 firsts for Paul George. The Clippers wanted RJ which got shut down.
- The Knicks looked at Max Strus and Yuta Watanabe, but after missing out they'll give Isaiah Roby a shot.
- IQ's floor is 20 per. But he stands to play himself into a bigger payday. In which case, NY might dangle him in a package for a star.
