1979- Energy Crisis who preceded President Carter? Republicans Nixon and Ford
1992- Mini recession- Who? 12 Years of Republicans Regan and Bush Sr.
2008- Great Recession- 8 years of Bush Jr. fighting two wars on a credit card . One of them, The Iraq war which was unnecessary and let us not forget that Subprime mortgages were in its heyday under his watch.

Middle America are an impatient bunch but will never learn, Republicans Economic Philosophy work in the short term and when the shyt hits the fan. they slink away
and then come four years later with their B.S. that the democrats are too slow in fixing the problem they created and the majority of the Americans have amnesia on who created this mess.
The only thing I fault Obama for, is for not combating this economic problem as soon as he came into office.
I am predicting this to be a close election but if Obama holds onto Ohio, He wins this election. But I am truly worried about our nation after 8 years of President Romney. (Americans hire these republicans fools usually for two terms for some reason)
