I did the east all stars a few days ago and that was tough, there is a lot more options here but still some questions as to who actually gets in.
Chris Paul, Westbrook and Durant have to be in, right? Even tho KD and russy were injured theyve been playing too good to not be in, IMO
Than Harden and Lillard have been playing MVP level ball so I'm gonna go with the 6 guard line up. I have a feeling Kobe might sit out anyway.
Big men is a little tougher. Dirk, Duncan, Aldridge have all been terrific but I gotta give Cousins a spot here. Draymond Green isn't putting up huge numbers but he is so key for the Warriors. Kawhi would be lock IMO if he played more games.
Honestly I think Tyson Chandler has been the Mavs best player this season, even tho he, Dirk, Monta and Parsons all provide their own unique contributions to a great Dallas team. And I cant forget Rudy Gay and Klay Thompson.
So there is a lot of competition.
At the end I got:
Marc Gasol
Anthony Davis
Blake Griffin
Kobe Bryant (out)
Steph Curry
Tyson Chandler (Aldridge will probably get picked by coaches though)
DeMarcus Cousins
Kevin Durant
James Harden
Russell Westbrook
Chris Paul
Rudy Gay (Kings with 2 all stars!
but this all star team needs another wing and
has been avg 4 assists a game! I think playing for team USA has really transformed his game)
And last but not least Damian Lilllard as a replacement for Kobe.
So what y'all think?
