Suh's actually been solid this season. Dude gets double teamed on every single snap. It's our other Dlinemen who aren't taking advantage of the double team. That's how Suh effects the game, and no one else on our defense is taking advantage.

Our QB(Tanny) is being paid like a QB and isn't making near the impact of his star status. Do you realize how trash our defense is altogether? Did you watch us get carved up by a struggling Eli Manning and NY Giants team? I try to defend Tanny, but he's been given a bigger break for mediocre to below average play, than Suh has for actually playing with heart and doing what he can to effect the game. They both got max contracts, but only one of them is still playing fairly well at their position while the other isn't, and yet one is taking the brunt of the criticism..

Any non-st position is worth "premium" pay if the player is elite. Of course there's an upper limit too - but it's the same for all positions.

A 29 year old QB is just getting started. A 29 year old DT is on the clock. All positions aren't the same in the least. Suh misses the Lions system as much as the Lions misses him. We ran what he did best just like Haynesworth play suffered from leaving Tennessee. Albert went from an attacking front where he got in the backfield and disrupted and made big plays to Washington where he played big and took on blockers. Well you can get a guy at a fourth of the price that can do that. Hence flop. So is Suh.
