I felt like giving Edge a short title run to bridge the gap between the current Tribal Chief story and the conclusion with Rock made sense.

Fans would 100% roll with it and he's a babyface with an edge (no pun intended) who isn't gonna come off as a dubious clown like many of the ones Vince books. Doesn't seem like that's their plan though with him going to raw.
