I'd put Pippen on Jordan just cuz they went at each other in all those practices. Dumars and GP are other good ones.

Depending on where bron is on the floor, id put Rodman on him a lot.

On Dirk I'd put Stephen Jackson. Hey, it worked before. :yeshrug:

But on some real shyt, none of these guys are getting stopped one-on-one on some isolation shyt. You're pretty much going to have to gear your whole team defense towards shutting them down.

What the hell would Shaq be able to do with Kareem? In that matchup I just see Shaq fouling out and Kareem dropping 30+

I couldn't think of anyone, so I just rode with the Deeze

Should've just gone with Bruce Lee before I changed my mind :snoop:

As far as guarding Kareem though it'd have to be prime Hakeem, Wilt, or Russell. Those guys are the only ones strong and mobile enough to give a prime Kareem any problems. I actually think Dwight would stand a better chance defending Kareem than Shaq would.

kareem was never a power player, man. he was always about finesse and agility. it's not like he'd body shaq on the block....and shaq (young shaq at least) could move well enough to hang with him. so yeah, shaq is a guy that would give kareem some problems.

Kareem was a much more physical player than people give him credit for. The guys he played against have said he was much stronger than he appeared to be. I'm basing my comments on the idea that we're talking about these guys in their Prime, and Shaq in his prime isn't mobile enough to defend Kareem. Prime Shaq had trouble defending anybody with even a semblance of a mid range game, so Kareem and his Sky Hook would have his way with Prime Shaq IMO (though Kareem wouldn't be able to stop Shaq either).

even if he is stronger than people give him credit for, he isn't pushing shaq down in the block. we both know this. prime shaq not mobile enough? maybe. but young shaq? yeah, he was. so if we're talking that shaq, who's pushing kaj out to throw up sky hooks all the time....he's guarding him well. obviously, it's a big move for kareem but if that's the shot he's getting most of the time...then you're doing a good job defending him.

pretty much every great center shaq faced saw their numbers drop in h2h match-ups. i don't think kaj would be much different.
