Who did it better?? Watchmen Or The Boys???

I know the two aren't necessarily the same.. The boys is aimed more at satire and more of a comedic vibe as Watchmen was a more measured character study with political cultural layers to it...

But overall which was better at depicting how people would realistically behave if they had super powers???
(as ridiculous as that sounds )

Watchmen was deconstruction the boys is a parody. Off the strength of the TV show and movie, their premises are far different and so is the tone but the boys show is better.

I can't say either was trying hard to be realistic about superhero behavior. The boys is incredibly cynical.

The Boys has nailed superheroes in a capitalist society EXCEPT homelander would have 10000% tried to take over the U.S. by now, lazy or not

well most of them didn't have actual powers on Watchmen so not sure if I we can make that comparison.

Also, In the boys, the proliferation of metahuman abilities is the agenda of a shady racist mega corporation so of course their super culture would be more callouse and slimy
