Bryan had the highest rated segments on every Raw even when he was injured...even when Punk, Michaels, Cripple H, Blandy, Cena, and Vince were all on the same show. Week after week after week.....

we talking about the same -750 million Daniel TA?

MVP was using the Drive-By Kick for awhile, then I guess the WWE didn't like the phrase "drive-by" and started using the Overdrive more.......yet Roman Reigns outside front drop kick is referred to as the Drive-By :martin:

Wow this is just all over the place

Drive By was his second/third finisher and he used it until he left WWE. He just kind of didn't win enough matches for anyone to know that was still his finisher at the end :russ:

Those "highest rated segments" were still on record breaking low shows, though.

Whatever your excuses are..these stars like Punk and Cena weren't ahead of him despite being pushed a HELLUVA lot more of the last two years before that.

What excuses am I making? Every dude on top has been part of record lows for years now. Randy Orton wasn't any worse on top than any of the other guys who also suffered from over all declining audiences. At two different points during his time as the top guy, he was probably the most popular guy on the roster (as a heel leading up to WM25 and as a face on SD during the era with the Christian feud). He was more over as a face and a heel than Seth Rollins EVER was, outside of one specific pop.

Shelton had one of the hottest streaks, performance wise, I've ever seen from like 04-05. Standout performances in the first Money in the Bank, the Gold Rush match with Shawn Michaels, etc. Consistently one of the best parts of the show, and a great baby face. Booking started failing him in 05 and while I was still a fan till he left, his career never picked back up. It's a shame because he could've been a top guy right along the other OVW class of 02 like Cena and Batista.

MVP character wise was coo and I was a big fan of the Kane, Benoit, and Matt Hardy feuds, but I have no want to go back and rewatch his work. Booking failed him too but in ring he was always average.
I'm still re watching older Shelton matches. He takes it for me.

MVP sucked in WWE. I dug him, but still ... Shelton all the way.

And MVP and Matt swore their rivalry on Smackdown was creative, interesting, and entertaining. Terrible feud imo. Boring and corny a hell.

Shelton had no chance of being a Cena/Batista level when he couldn't even let someone else do a promo for him without looking uncomfortable
