Eminem clearly. Give them the same production and Redman is throughly washing Em. Em is just piling a bunch of syllables into as few bars as possible. Redman still sounds as fresh as he did in the 90s and 00s.

I’m one of the biggest fans of Red’s music in the 90’s but the bolded is a straight up lie :pachaha:

His voice has changed, his punchlines are dated and cringy and his flow is not what it use to be at all.

It's definitely Funk Doc, for me.

Because I never f*cked with a lot of Em's music to begin with.

I understand

Only reason I’m comparing them is because of the whole teacher vs student

Em studied Red to the core and it showed greatly in the first 3 albums of his career

Reggie's music isn't what it was but he can at least still drop an enjoyable verse. I don't enjoy Em verses anymore.

Good point

I’ll say this much, Red at least still raps over beats that sound alright even if he loses my attention these days

I get that.

Red always talks about how much Eminem loves him. He speaks on that a little too much. LOL!!

Right?

And I get it but at the same time I’m like “damn, why Em don’t be working with none of these guys that he always praises”?

I was shocked when Nas was able to get Em to actually rap on EPMD 2 lol

Edit

Em did work with LL on his last album

Another thing

Anybody else find it ironic and funny how Em was dissing pop singers like Aguilera and his idol (Red) worked with her :russ:

Em gave in decade and some change later and did the same thing when he needed help with his hooks though lol

I think the older Jersey dudes like the validation.

Red and Treach talk all day about how Eminem told them personally that they inspired him. With Treach, I don’t even care because he still ain't give us a solo album. Dudes been asking for that sh*t for 30+ years, lol.

Yeah that’s what I think too

True lol

Treach was talking bout that solo album again a few years ago and now if he drops it, it has to be on Shady Records

It wouldn’t be what it would’ve been at this point but Em should just help bruh out since he’s a hero to him and drop it on Shady Records out of respect and love

I remember Treach narrated Eminem’s doc “AKA” back in 04

Treach is my guy, but I don’t think Em's hopping in the studio with him anytime soon for a project, lol.

He said he wants to do an album with Em, but he waited decades to make moves on the solo thing. People don’t even want it anymore. I always say, we should've had the Treach solo back in '96, right after Poverty's Paradise. Pete Rock said back then on Future Flavaz that he had some beats for Treach. He had a lot of demand for the solo, but it just never happened.
