Who had the better 2017 Finals: Kyrie Or Steph

In 2016 The Answer was obvious...Never was there an MVP that had been that vastly outplayed by his counterpart and it culminated in a championship winning 3 in his face.

2016:



Kyrie - 27.1ppg, 4rpg,4apg, 47%fg, 40.5%3p
Steph - 22.6ppg, 5rpg,3.7apg 40%fg, 40.2%3p


But this year Steph stepped up big time and played a complete floor game almost averaging a triple double while boosting his efficiency. But the same time Kyrie ramped it back up to his level last year and in 2 games was the most dominant player on the floor and was unguardable through stretches and actually posted better numbers this year

Steph - 26.8ppg, 8rpg, 9.4apg, 44%fg, 39%3p
Kyrie - 29.1ppg, 4rpg, 4.4apg, 47.2%fg 42%3p

Everyone with a semblance of BBIQ could have saw that the Cavs would miss Kyrie terribly in these finals. There’s probably no player in the league right now who has a game more suited to shredding Golden State’s defense than a Kyrie Irving.

Even last year they were saying they didn’t need Kyrie because in the first 2 rounds he was somewhat lackluster and Lebron was sensational. But as soon as the defense bogged down Kyrie would activate and elevate the team, while taking pressure off Lebron. Add to the fact that he’s an elite shooter/creator and u can see that the whole team is affected by his loss (JR, Korver, Tristan) not just Lebron.

Bron should have really tried to get Kyrie to at least stay another year and coordinate their futures the way he did with the Miami big 3. Kyrie was just as an important piece and Bron may have actually shortened his career in the long run playing so many mins this year.

Kyrie stans acting like he would be the difference in this series and shyt. Yea the Cavs miss him. But u really think if they go snatch him away from his backstreet boy dancing session and put him on the court right now that there would be a difference?

They still lose in 4-5. Cavs need pieces not just a Kyrie
