had to go wit The Rebel INS. They both were spittin but Deck was painting a real vivid picture of a harsh life for many where Rae was focused on his self. Also, that verse really came to represent what NY rap was all about

was thinking about makin a thread about the top 10 verses ever spit by Wu Tang members :jbhmm:

Deck. Having said that, i re-listened to the track just now. Before listening i would have said that it's not even close but now i could see someone feeling the opposite and would respect it. Still feel it's deck off his delivery, and also there was a more introspective vibe to it. and again, rae went off too. the imagery he paints, the feeling of getting it by any means necessary was transmitted very well. I'll say Deck is my fav out of the two but i won't say it's better. they're both essential to the song for different reasons. One is giving you the state of mind that breeds the C.R.E.A.M climate and how he felt like he had to do whatever to get his, to level up and show that you exist. The other one is giving you the pitfalls and consequences of the climate through a very sobering common tale of what ends up happening too often. Both masterfully executed.
