Who has gotten more help in their career from David Stern: Lebron or Kobe?

All four times Bron has earned his trips to the Finals. They upset the Pistons the game after he scored 29 of 30 points when the Pistons were the favorites to get to the Finals. The Heat beat the Bulls pretty convincingly in 2011 and barely got by the Celtics last year as well as the Pacers this year. Not saying Kobe hasn't earned his Finals appearances, but those last couple of games versus Sacramento was fishy as hell. And even to this day me and my homey argue when he tries to tell me that the 4th quarter in Game 7 of the Finals was called fairly. The only time Kobe and Lakers have not been favored by the league was when Stern vetoed the Paul trade. And that was smart, cuz it made both LA teams must see TV.
I'm so annoyed with these Heats dudes. What they throwing stones for?

Kobe is the only one thats been proven to be helped by the league.
I dont believe Lebron has actually been helped because of the exposure of the 2002 reffing scandal.

Lebron was clearly helped last year against Boston, mainly game 2. 47 FTs and a no-call on Wade blatantly hitting Rondo in the face on a layup with less than 2 min left. They lose that game they lose the series. Yea he went off in game 6, but it shouldn't have come to that, cac refs got him that opportunity.

lol... Kobe been helped by the league but... Chris Paul situation? Also 2002 was 11 years ago, what the fukk have the Lakers gotten since then?

As a fairly neutral viewer of the last two rounds, I'd say the Heat got the short end of the officiating stick against INDIANA! And they have gotten the shorten end against the spurs too...

You cant say that for anyone else because nobody's come out and said "I got a letter saying its in my best interest for (insert team) to win the game/series". As happened in 2002. That also sets the precedent of people being skeptical of the years that followed until it was finally admitted.
I believe (as do some others) that the NBA helped teams before the cheating became public but it was never proven. Like the WCF when the Suns played the Sonics and Barkley was shooting about 40 FTs every other night (exaggeration, but still)

The Lakers traded Pau and Lamar for Cp3 essentially, and we're looking to sign d-12. The league in an unprecedented move said NO, for whatever reason.
Also, 2002 once again was 11 years ago, a lot has changed since then including the rape trial. Even then, 2002 has been preceded by the 2006 finals as the worst ever officiated series, and I think we can agree.
The Heat and Lebron obviously get favorable calls, and it is annoying, but by bringing this up I don't think I'm taking anything away from him. If and when Miami wins tonight, it's not directly as a result of Stern, they earned it, just like they did last year. It's just sometimes obviously, as the marquee team of the league the Heat will get some bullshyt calls for them, anyone can see that.
So we're just gonna blatantly ignore the 2006 finals or those cavs/wiz playoff matchups that had hella questionable calls and an overall coddling of his majesty?

Ahh, I completely overlooked the trade thing. I was thinking you were saying CP3 gets special treatment in some way (hes a flopper tho lol). You have a point there tho, Im not even a Lakers fan and I thought that was bullshyt.
I honestly feel that Lebron may have gotten calls in the past, but not this year. I think that the officiating has just been so bad all around that its tough to tell if theyre really pushing one team over another. Maybe theyve just gotten better at disguising it
While saying that, I can see your theory of the NBA pushing big market/marquee teams. That isnt a crazy stretch by any means, and wouldnt surprise me if you were right.
