Who has more knowledge on music and technical sound expertise - RZA or DJ Quik?

I would still give it to Quik. He is honestly one of the most underrated producers in music....

Everytime I think of Blaze in a beat battle I think about when him and Alchemist went at it at Red Bull a while back and then ALC snuck that "Hold You Down" on him and he was over there like

I didn't want to say this . . I use to be an avid fan of his work. Isn't he spinning EDM nowadays? Outside of that, once he got to a certain stature it seems like he made an effort to leave his mark on everything he does which resulted in an attempt to complicate his work placing intricacy in places where the music was suppose to prevail . .

Quik's beats are technically superior but at the same time they are deliberately cleaner and more polished so that could be by design

In terms of sound, RZA's beats are better

RZA is the GOAT producer

music? thats impossible, both guys are lifelong students. who knows what they know, just know its expansive

technical sound, that would be Quik. now ive felt that RZA has done a great job getting the last 2 Wu records mixed (8D was gritty, ABT was much more polished) but thats Quik's expertise

I don't to what extent RZA does behind the boards, but I know for Quik (aside from rapping and producing) he mixes, masters, records, engineers, etc. Basically, Quik is an engineer. For those that don't know, he mixed YG's "My nikka", he also mixed something like 12 songs on "All Eyez On Me" in 2 days, including Ambitionz..., Skandalouz, 2 Of Amerika'z..., etc.

Again, RZA may do a lot for the Wu, but Quik is musically more sound
