Shavers fought every month and erased nikkas , that's really impressive considering wear and tearWilder by faaaaaaaar. You have to put Shavers' power into context. He was doing it against guys in the 190-210 pound range and not straight up erasing them like Wilder either. Wilder might be the hardest hitting boxer ever.
He also failed to knock a lot of fighters out and got knocked by fighters that shouldn't have been able to touch him.Shavers fought every month and erased nikkas , that's really impressive considering wear and tear
Makes no sense. He doesn't really break dudes down, rough em up etc. He times em and boom. He doesn't even have the best jab to work behind. But one thing that is slept on is that he's a 6'7 man moving at crazy speeds. Its like a gold club or a wrecking ball.Earnie was a beast and unlucky to have boxed in that GOAT era...
He would of easily been a strap holder in any other HW era...
That said I have never seen a right hand like Wilders...
Even Joe Louis had to set his shyt up...
Look how Earnie uses his legs and waist for leverage...
Wilder literally just throws that bytch and the fights over if it connects clean...
shavers was a killer who fought killers and very skilled fighters.
wilder is a killer but fought trash to average fighters in comparision.
