Just because you call someone out doesn't make you alpha. See, we correlate alpha as loud or demonstrative, I've seen quite a few loud and demonstrative betas in life. There are quiet alphas you know, those who talk soft but carry a big stick types

Dwyane Wade is a great example, he is a seemingly quiet alpha, really alpha.

what makes someone an alpha male in the nba? Is it mean scowls for the camera? Is it tough guy talk? Is it playing 82 games and not complaining? Is it chest thumping? Is it dissing reporters?

Is it some manufactured standard that you create for a player you already like so you fit them in that box?

Simple...an Alpha is a guy that isn't looking to blame others (especially) on a public platform, someone who doesn't exhibit timid behavior when it matters, someone who buys into being team leader and who other players on the team look to naturally as well as a guy who feels no need to get into consistent exchanges with the media because he understands they do what they do just like he does what he does
