You are at the airport about to board a flight. It’s you your wife, three kids and her cousin. You realize your wife left her work laptop at the security check. Its final boarding and you have five minutes the husband tells the wife he can run back to get the laptop, she says ok. Threes minutes later they are closing the door, the wife gets on the flight with her three kids and cousins. You aren’t allowed on the flight. Is she wrong or right?

Easier for the airlines to find a spot on the next flight for ONE person versus SIX people.

Wife and cuz can take care of the kids and you can catch the next flight. If they get off the airplane....more of a hassle logistically. If it's just me and my wife? We both get off the plane.

I would not break this down by women and men, but instead feminine and masculine. I would say being logical is a more masculine trait, while being empathetic is a more feminine trait. In general, women are more feminine while men are more masculine. So in general women are more empathetic and men are more logical.

The outcome from this situation, ignoring all of the other ways it could have been avoided, was the most logical outcome. Others have already pointed out why.
