God's Son only had like four days of sales first week because it dropped a few days ahead of schedule. It dropped on a Friday instead of a Tuesday.

Jay Z may have done 500K+ first week with BP2. That album went 3X Platinum. As a double disc, it actually scanned 1.5 million which is around the same as what Nas sold with God's Son overall.

It moved very close to 2 million before he released/exchanged it for the shorter version which moved closer to or over 1 million. So no, Jay doubled Nas sales. This is when they were the closest in terms of heat too, which makes dudes comments laughable. And add to the fact that the double album cost about twice as much.
