Matt Elam...

Coming out of college he looked like he could be the next great safety in the league.

nikka can't even tackle right:mjcry:

Can't even play half good coverage :mjcry:

He went from the guy who got next to one of the worst players in the league and one of the worst safeties I've ever seen.

Sean May
To a degree, Wayne Simien (even tho he won a championship, I feel he underachieved).

Edit: Probably a different thread (Most surprising scrub to prosper in the league) but it blows my mind that Luke Ridnour is in the NBA while Taquan Dean never got drafted.

Beasley is up there for me because he had all the tools to be an All Star small forward. Kid could flat out score coming out of college and I couldn't possibly see how it wouldnt translate. After the Super Cool Beas tattoo it was confirmed he's a dust head

Rashad McCants and Terrence Williams recently.

Both guys could legit hoop - just headcases that couldn't survive with themselves

Sad thing is, Sean May could actually hoop. He had a couple of games in this rookie year when he was handing out the business all night long... But dude got hurt one time, issues combined with his weight problem, just never had a chance to get his feet under him.

Oden is an obvious one.
I liked Vince Young and bought a Titans Young Jersey even :snoop:

I thought Joey Harrington would be a solid starting QB

Shows how much i know about football, i like watching it and follow it to a degree but my record of predicting draft picks, super bowls, team records etc is terrible.
I just don't have enough knowledge of play calling and other intricacies.

Now the NBA, i played organized basketball so I often can read what sets teams are running and really have a good understanding of the game. So if I would choose to do so, i can prob make some $ betting. I just know soon as real money is involved, i have the worst luck when it comes to gambling, so I don't even risk it anymore.
Tho last time I seriously pursued college ball bets, around 2009, i was pretty succesful, betting on about a game a day, even a few on Saturday. Batting about 59%, which is pretty decent

Titus Young :to: him and Megatron at the routes woulda been a scary sight especially after his amazing rookie season Too bad he fukked himself over with those off-field issues.

Here's hoping I'm not upping this thread with Cordarelle Patterson next year :lupe:
