Even if you don't want to make that type of star, they get made organically. Plus, business is always better when there's the guy.Seems like WWE doesn't want to make those type of stars anymore tbh. Maybe that'll change when HHH is fully running the company.
I think they dont want people to continue to become bigger than their brand. I agree with you. They have less leverage when they want to leave.Seems like WWE doesn't want to make those type of stars anymore tbh. Maybe that'll change when HHH is fully running the company.
Might be Reigns, they chanted Rocky Sucks before he broke out as a star.
3 years into his WWF career, Rock was headed towards being the biggest face on the roster, and the most popular guys in wrestling in general. 3 years into his WWE career, Roman Reigns is unintentionally the biggest heel on the roster that they continue to masquerade as a face. Reigns is nowhere close to being a transcending star.
Not everybody's rise is exactly the same time like wise, but I think Reigns maybe has the opportunity, may have been further along had it not been for failing the drug test. I think he's got the personality, look, intensity, in ring ability to possibly be a big star, it may take a heel turn then organically for the fans to start fukking with him again then eventually turn face, ultimately it may end up being decided by the booking, I wouldn't rule Reigns out yet though, I do think he has star quality.
