I was going to say Shiek but watching those videos of Backlund made me change my vote. I hated Backlund as a kid because he beat Bret for the belt but now I have a better appreciation for him. It also shows a difference between these older wrestlers and newer wrestlers. Older guys were more believable in their gimmicks than guys are now.

I've seen separate out-of-character interviews with both of these dudes where they looked pretty sane.

Iron Sheik had a tragedy in his life where his daughter was murdered. Sometimes I wonder if he snapped after that and went legit crazy. Backlund, though, I'm pretty sure is just a damn good actor.
