Women put with more than men... sorta. They medicate themselves by getting the D from other places, so I don't know if that counts or not. They at the very least stay in the relationship in a nominal sense.

The excuse is usually, "I wasn't getting what I needed, so instead of pointing out where I wasn't happy in the relationship I decided to venture elsewhere. Holding onto you kinda goes against the narrative that I wasn't happy in our relationship, but it gives me an excuse to get my girlfriends to rally around my hurtful actions."

I guess it's a bit much to say, "Excuse me, I'm your girlfriend and I expect to be treated like a girlfriend." When pissed off in the relationship.

Not really. Men are biologically wired and socialized to be the aggressors when it comes to the opposite sex. Yeah, there are some thirsty females, but men are thirsty by nature --- men arent relentlessly eyeballed and spit at as they walk down the street. Women are sexualized, not men.

And going by what you said, the fact that men generally have have to deal w/ frequent emotional outbursts from their girl, supports the idea that relationships are tougher on men.
