Bron said everything short of "we're going after PG" in his presser so yea, dude gonna have something on deck this summer

BTW, Spurs are very much a threa out west. It's kinda sad if an elite talent goes to Cle to secure bron yet another appearance, dudes need to team up and box him out as well as create a team to beat wait her the dubs or spurs

Cleveland is kinda stuck. Only reason GS got to where it is was due to the fluke Curry contract and the TV deal. With Cavs cap situation, they are in no
real position to make big moves. No team is. League is in a weird space.

Those trades are smart but Chicago wouldn't do that. And honestly as one-dimensional as Kyrie is its a dimension that needs to stay to go for another title. Against any other team Paul George scoring 25 PPG in the Finals as the Robin is fine but it wouldn't be enough for the Dubs.

Why don't you think Chicago would take Love? Rumors during the season were that it was the Cavs, not the Bulls, who were keeping the deal from happening.

You can't beat the Warriors thinking "Batman and Robin" mode. They've got too much firepower for that. A 2016-style win ain't never going to happen again because Durant ain't no Barnes, Draymond ain't missing games, and you can't bank on Curry being less than 100%. There ain't two guys in the league better than Durant and Curry at scoring, so you HAVE to beat them another way.

What they need is to go with a roided-up version of the 2015 strategy. Slow it down, suffocate Golden State defensively, limit their shots, while still holding onto enough offensive firepower to make up for the fact that no one can completely slow down this team. And have swing defense for miles so that Lebron can go 100% on the offensive end and dictate everything.

If you get Teague-Butler-PG13-Lebron-TT, then you have two starters (PG13 and Lebron) who can take turns on Durant AND two guards who can make the Warriors guards work harder than hell. Then on offense you have four three-point shooters, all of whom can handle the ball. With the defensive weight off Lebron, he can give you 35-10-10 like he did this series, plus PG13 and Butler are legit 20-25ppg scorers each and Teague is gonna give you double digits too. That's a much better defense-offense balance then you had this year.

And unlike this year, when the team SUCKED without Lebron in, I would absolutely trust Teague and PG13 or Teague and Butler to hold the fort while Lebron was on the bench.

The biggest issue would be those Pacers actually re-signing in order to make the deal happen. But if the Butler deal happened first, they might do it for the super-team.

Honestly, if he could stay healthy and he really wants to play, the cavs would be wise for going after Chris bosh for bench help. A rangy big that can hit the 3 and defend the pick and roll could def hold off curry for a couple possessions. At least lebron could rest for more than 2 minutes a game.

No one would have guessed Green would be a HOF and that Klay would be as great at shooting as he would become and have the 2nd best Def on his team

:francis:The beauty of passionate players and great coaching/development. That team could NEVER have been assembled through trades alone. They fostered a
"culture", the ball gets shared a lot, and the players play strictly how they know best. Green is the glue, and Klay is a guy who could be leading another squad easily.
It was the perfect storm, and getting KD just put them over the top. Had they still had Barnes, Cavs would be eating right now.

:russ:Yuuuuuuuuuuuup! They had the pieces in waiting, developing and quickly becoming a problem. Now we have a dynasty. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves.

GS gonna get at least one more chip, and just know that means they have all the leverage in free agency down the line. The team is established now. Its incredible to watch.

Not for me :francis: i just came to terms the warriors Made the jump out of now where and got good to fast... I remember a few years back i said to myself it was going to be the warriors and my team leading the west... but now its just the warriors... If CP3 signs with the warriors then its officially over for the NBA :yeshrug: Actually i want CP3 to sign with the warriors it will force Adam to make a plan for Superstars all teaming up shyt thrown in PG13 let it be the west and east all starts on one team and then beach players

The two old vets with no ship that just happen to be his friends and may take less money. Chris Paul and Melo.

CARMELO ANTHONY. For all his faults during those times when Bron is on the bench Melo will keep the offense afloat at the least and would probably thrive playing with Bron. fukk the rebounding you give up with trading Love. Melo Bron and Tristan would just have to step up even more grabbing boards but when you play the Warriors you need to fight fire with fire and Melo wont go in a lull to much on offense we know.
