I just like now that there arent 500 people on the stage doing nothing in the background like it use to be.

where do they do this at though?? no shots or digs, im curiously asking. because the stage crowd has only got worse. the best are going to local/indy showcases where an unknown dude has like 60 people on stage with him. why not tell your boys to bug out in the crowd and make things look somewhat live. everyone wants to be on camera.

I actually really dug when Travis Scott told everybody to get the fukk off the stage and then made those stage potatoes stand right up front. Serves em' right, if you can't really hang, don't bother.

It works for some rappers like Too Short who don't cram in too many words on songs.

It's horrible for some rappers like Busta Rhymes who need to catch their breath after two or three lines.

The issue these days with rappers is the fukking Soul Train lip syncing performance they are doing. Big middle finger to those lazy muthafukkaz.

I would say the hypeman is a great use if the rapper himself isn't a hype type and monotone for the most part. I also think a hypeman is best used when he is on PAR with the rapper and they both coordinate smoothly. Busta and Spliff star are the GREATEST Rapper/Hypeman duo i've ever witnessed because unlike all these other rappers, they actually PRACTICE and make sure their TIMING is on point to make sure everything is on point! Their improvising game is compared to NO OTHER as well.

Hands down the greatest rapper/hypeman duo EVER. I remember getting tickets to a Busta show and not even being hype to go. I was like “ehh”. I was a fan but never saw him perform before that and was not hype to go at the time. Thank God I did breh, because by the end of the night I had my lighter in the air and was like :dj2:

Best show I ever been to. And I been to a lot of shows.

Vocal tracks are the new hype men

Like these new nikkaz wont even be rappin 30% of the track, they just stand there lookn high n drunk as fukk

Pullin dance moves n lettin the front row crowd do all the rappin

thats just :camby:

N its not even like they be rappin at 100 mph... these muthafukkaz rap 4 words a bar n cant even rap them at their shows like :wtf:
