Since a bunch of ppl. wrote for Mc Lyte and Latifah I almost didn't include them. But in reality, for all I know some of these others chicks have writers too.

That said.

1.) Lauryn Hill - Her lyrics, flow, and popularity is unsurpassed.
2.) Salt N Pepa - Yes, Herbie and others wrote for them but they took Femceeing to the next level
3.) Jean Grae - The only female I would consider a true lyricist that has been around for years and has been on tracks with Talib, Black Thought, and others and RIPPED it.
4.) MC Lyte - Yes Audio Two wrote her isht, but she slaughtered anyone trying to uck with her and she and Pepa paved the way for people like....
5.) Lil Kim - She took Platinum femceeing to multi plat.
