What u say
Krs' music taught the masses in a way Kane could never reach.
Recently Gza spent half this interview quoting Krs. He didn't quote Kane

Chuck D taught the masses in a way Kane could never reach too. It doesn't make Chuck better than Kane.
Just because the GZA didn't quote Kane doesn't make KRS better.
I'm just saying, your examples of why KRS is better are suspect. I'm not saying either is better, I'm just point out your criteria.![]()
Two things wrong with this statement.
1. OP said KRS and Kane. You brought up Chuck D out of thin air.
2. Me posting the Gza quoting a krs song that is 26 years old shows how Gza was humble enough to promote KRS for half the interview because thats really what he was doing. Also, gza used a krs song to enlighten. Why? Because thats what Krs' music did. Kane just doesn't have songs of such caliber. Kane never once made an album on the level of Edutainment.
Depends on your definition of "better".
KRS's overall discography is fukking mean.
However, you can still see Prime Kane's style influence on rappers today whether they know it or not.
1. I used Chuck to debunk your theory about being better because of who taught more/better.
2. GZA quote who was more influential to HIM, and that doesn't mean that KRS was better.
Don't be defensive breh.
