Who was funnier in the 90’s?

Which show was better Martin or in living color?
Which show was better Martin or in living color?
Martin. But its closer than I wanna admit. I think damon was in better overall stuff than Martin was until he got that 95' powerup with Bad Boyz
word
and Damon has range too
he showed he could almost take on a drama role like Bamboozled
No cap, both of em been in sum shyt
Bev Hills Cop, Bamboozled, In Living Color, Waynehead, Colors, Blankman, Major Payne, imma get you suka, Mo Money, Look who's talking
do the right thing, house party 1 and 2, boomerang, Bad Boyz, You so crazy, life, thin line, nothing to lose, blue streak, runteldat, big momma house 1 and 2, national security, black knight, national security
True
I think Damon has had the better run
looking back, Martin had fallen off by Runteldat
Runteldat wasn’t bad but it was very very very avaerage compared to Martin historic 90’s run.
I think Martin’s last classic film was Life
every movie post that just felt flat
Fair assessment! (I can agree with Life too) I think they had the same impact, their runs just stopped/started around the same time.
Does 86-04 (Dame) 90-06 (Martin) sound in line?
Don't seem like dame was in anything heavy after 95 though, why do I feel like I've seen Bamboozled for sum reason?
edit
damn, how I forget about my wife and kids

84 for Damon professionally, like movie wise, but i think he was doing stand up since like 82'
Damon was making movies between tv and movies post 95'
98' he had a show but it didn't last a season. He played a detective on it. Show was named "Damon"
Post 95' movies, he was in a few movies; Celtic Pride, The Great White Hype, and Bulletproof; all were release in 96'
Bamboozled came out in 2000. Very underrated film directed by Spike Lee.
And then in the 2000's he had the tv show
By the 2000's, Martin had cooled off, a lot. He was in movies and shows, but it just wasn't the same in any way. Like not even a flicker or flare of his glory days
Oh, I got you now!
when you say that though, are you meaning quality of work or passion? or financial, box office success?
